Business Development Manager

These solutions achieve this transparently, automatically and without any user intervention or application disruption.

FittedCloud is looking for a Business Development Manager to improve our market position and drive the achievement of our financial growth. This is an exciting ground floor opportunity where the Business Development Manager will manage key customer relationships, identify business opportunities, negotiate and close business deals and maintain extensive knowledge of current market conditions.

Job Description

The primary role of the Business Development Manager is to prospect for new clients by following up on marketing qualified leads, networking, cold calling or other means of generating interest from potential clients. They must then plan persuasive approaches and pitches that will convince potential clients to become a FittedCloud customer.

They must develop a rapport with new clients, and set targets for sales and provide support that will continually improve the relationship. They are also required to grow and retain existing accounts by presenting new solutions and services to clients.

The key responsibilities can be summarized as follows:

New Business Development

  • Prospect for potential new clients and turn them into customers.
  • Cold call as appropriate. Identify potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging your network.
  • Identify potential clients, and the decision makers within the client organization.
  • Research and build relationships with new clients.
  • Set up follow on calls between client decision makers and company’s leadership.

Client Retention

  • Present new products and services and enhance existing relationships.
  • Work with technical staff and other internal colleagues to meet customer needs.
  • Arrange and participate in internal and external client debriefs.

Management and Research

  • Submit weekly progress reports and ensure data is accurate.
  • Ensure that data is accurately entered and managed within FittedCloud’s CRM.
  • Forecast sales targets and ensure they are met by the team.
  • Track and record activity on accounts and help to close deals to meet these targets.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years of inside sales experience with B2B enterprise SaaS offerings.

Other Skills and Qualifications

  • Good understanding of Cloud Infrastructure (specifically AWS) is used by customers.
  • Networking, Persuasion, Prospecting, Writing, Closing Skills, Motivation for Sales, Prospecting Skills, Sales Planning, Identification of Customer Needs and Challenges, Territory Management, Market Knowledge, Meeting Sales Goals, Professionalism, CRM, and Microsoft Office.

Compensation

  • Salary, unlimited commission, bonus, and equity commensurate with experience.
